A BRIEFING FROM BEN · EVERY GREEN LIGHT CALL HERE IS REAL, DATED AND DRAWN FROM THE DATA

GREEN LIGHT

Timing is everything with options. Three lights on every candle (volume, the market, VWAP), and when all three turn green, the CALL is on.

Let me open with a question.

Have you ever bought an option on a good idea and watched the premium melt because you got in too early? Or chased it after the move, at the worst price of the day?

With options, being right isn't enough. You have to be right at the right time.

What if three simple lights told you when the timing was finally on your side?

Calls like these, every one of them dated:

Real calls on stocks you've heard of, each with its entry, its target and its stop before it moved.

I know that might sound too good to be true. So let me tell you who I am, and then I'll show you one of these, chart by chart.

Ben Losier

My name is Ben. I've been part of building trading tools for close to a decade, me and a really great team: TriTrader+, MagniZone, the Morning Power Hour system, OCP, EFC, 5 Candle Master, Green Light Options and others thousands of traders have used.

Our options team has over 20 years of combined experience in the trenches.

Green Light came out of one of those 5 AM ideas, the morning after an options loss I'd mistimed. I wanted volume, the market and VWAP on one screen, and a single light that says go. Today it runs on our own charts too, and every call on this page is a real one.

Here's what you're going to see in this briefing:

Don't take my word for any of it. Let me walk you through one.

The September 2 Green Light call

SNOW on the 4-hour chart, up to the candle it fired on:

Three things are checked on every candle: did it trade more than usual, is the market (SPY) moving the same way, and is price above the day's VWAP. Two of three is a WAIT. All three is the light.

On September 2 it fired, and this is what Green Light Live showed:

Green Light LiveSep 2 · at the candle close

Look at that card. The entry, the target and the stop, all there before the move.

Nothing to draw. Nothing to measure. Nothing to guess.

And then…

Why options timing hurts most traders

Here's the trap.

You like a stock, so you buy the call. But nothing is behind the move yet: no volume, the market drifting the other way. The stock goes sideways and the option bleeds every hour.

Or you wait to be sure, and buy after the big candle, paying the most for the option right as the move ends.

The fix isn't a better idea. It's waiting for the moment the volume, the market and the price all agree.

August 26, CRWD: the Green Light Call.

CRWD, the 4-hour chart. On August 26 Green Light Live called the Green Light Call at $189.48, with the target at $200.92 and the stop at $183.76. It ran through the target in 4 trading hours and closed at $208.25: +9.9% on the stock.

The perfect storm

Here's the idea behind the lights.

Volume shows the big money is in. The market (SPY) shows the tide is with you, because when SPY goes, most stocks follow. VWAP is the line the funds measure themselves against: above it, buyers are in control for the day.

Any one of those alone is noise. All three at once is the moment an option has the best chance to work. That's the green light.

How the lights work

GREEN LIGHT · IN ITS OWN WORDS, AS MEMBERS READ IT
1

Green Light reads three things on every candle, the rows of the TradingView table: VOLUME (✔ when the candle traded more than its 20-candle average), MARKET (▲ when SPY closed above its last candle) and VWAP (▲ when the close is above the day's VWAP).

2

All three up is a green light for a CALL: the table reads 🟢 CALL and a green arrow is drawn under the candle, on every candle it stays on. All three down is a PUT, with a red arrow over the candle. The candle after a light goes out reads 🟡 WAIT.

3

The script draws no trade, so we tested several and use the one that held up best: in at the close of the candle the light turns green, out at the close of the first candle it is no longer green (the WAIT). A stop 1 ATR under the entry and a target 2 ATRs above it close it sooner if price gets there first.

4

Each call comes with its options contract: an at-the-money call, the monthly expiry about three weeks out, so a trade that lasts a candle or two is not all time decay. It is priced from the real option at the moment the light went green, and only on stocks with a busy options market.

5

Why the 4-hour CALLs only: we tested Green Light over two years of 1-hour and 4-hour charts on 30 stocks and ETFs, holding the most recent 30% back to check it. The 4-hour CALLs made a little on both stretches (+0.12R then +0.04R a trade, about half of them winners). The 1-hour CALLs made nothing on the months held back, and the PUTs lost on every chart, so those are drawn, never called. Expect a small edge, not a big one.

6

VWAP starts over each session, so Green Light is an intraday tool: on a daily chart a candle's VWAP is its own close and it never lights.

7

Getting close lists the 4-hour charts lit right now, and the ones with two of the three lights already green: one more and the light goes on.

What every call passes:

Two more, on our own charts

The 4-hour chart, buys only

Green Light Live calls the buys on the 4-hour chart: what held up when we tested it on years of real candles, with the most recent stretch held back to check it. Every call on this page came from it.

Look at it on another chart, or at the sells, and you will still see it drawn there, for context. It is never called there: we only want the best setups.

The record, as it is kept

I'll be straight with you: not every call works. Some hit the stop. That's what the stop is for, and it's why the scorecard inside keeps every call, not just the good ones:

THE LAST 90 DAYS · EVERY FINISHED GREEN LIGHT CALL

average +4.5%

412hit the stop

Green reached the full target, light green closed in profit before it, red hit the stop, grey closed another way. Counted from the scorecard when this page loaded.

That's the real record of the last 90 days: 638 closed in profit (107 at the full target) and 412 hit the stop. One past stretch is not a promise about the next one.

The newest Green Light call

As I write this, ADP is a live call from $284.12, made Oct 28. It is one of 2 Green Light calls still open. Members have the target and the stop on the card.

Why this beats guessing your entry

One board, three lights. Volume, the market and VWAP on every candle, at a glance.

You know when to wait. Two of three is a WAIT, not a trade.

You get the contract too. Each call carries an at-the-money option about three weeks out, priced when the light went on.

We tell you the truth about it. The 4-hour CALLs held up in testing, but the edge is small. Use it as your timing filter, not a money machine.

You can check every call. The record counts every one, wins and losses.

What "no thanks" actually costs

Green Light reads the market whether you're on it or not. In the last 30 days it called 618. When the next one fires, it's either a card on your screen with the target already on it, or a chart you look at a week later, wondering how you missed it.

The questions I'd ask before buying this

What chart does it call?

The 4-hour chart. Other timeframes are drawn for context, never called.

Are there short signals?

Not as calls. Green Light calls the buys; the sells are drawn on the chart for context, because they did not hold up in testing.

How long do trades last?

Until the target or the stop, whichever comes first. Some finish in a day or two, some take a few weeks.

Does it repaint?

No. A call is made on a closed candle, and Green Light Live keeps every call on its scorecard exactly as it was made.

Is the edge big?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. We tested it over two years of 1-hour and 4-hour charts: the 4-hour CALLs made a little on both the stretch it was tuned on and the one held back. The 1-hour and every PUT did not hold up, so they are drawn, never called. Green Light is a timing filter.

Why not the daily chart?

VWAP starts over each session, so on a daily chart a candle's VWAP is its own close and the light never comes on. Green Light is an intraday tool.

What is included?

The Green Light indicator for TradingView, the Power Index indicator, the Green Light Options Workshop, the Breakout Strategy and TradingView 101.

And the calls that don't work?

Some hit the stop. Every call stays on the scorecard inside, wins and losses. This page shows the best ones; inside, you see all of them.

I already own Green Light Options. Do I need this?

No. It is already in your members area. This page is for traders who do not have it yet.

Is this a subscription?

No. $497 once, lifetime access. No monthly or yearly charges.

What if it's not for me?

Use Green Light Options for 14 days. If it is not for you, ask through Support in your dashboard and you get every penny back. No questions asked.

Two versions of the next option

Somewhere this week you will like a stock and want to buy the call.

In one version, you buy it on the idea, and watch the premium bleed while the stock goes nowhere.

In the other version, you waited for the volume, the market and the price to agree, and bought on the light.

The lights read the next one either way. The only question is whether you wait for green.
