GOLD BAR
Gold coils in a tight box before it moves. The Gold Bar Algo waits for the Miner's Mark, the strong close out of the box, and every alert comes with the entry, the target and the stop.
Let me open with a question.
Have you ever watched gold sit still for weeks, looked away, and come back to a move that was already over?
Gold is full of noise. False breakouts, sudden drops, days that go nowhere. Most traders either chase the spike or give up right before the real move.
What if you didn't have to watch it at all, and your phone made a sound only when gold broke out of its box with the plan already on the alert?

My name is Ben. I've been part of building trading tools for close to a decade, me and a really great team: TriTrader+, MagniZone, the Morning Power Hour system, OCP, EFC, 5 Candle Master, Green Light Options and others thousands of traders have used.
Our options team has over 20 years of combined experience in the trenches.
Gold Bar is one of the systems our team built and tested together: the gold alerts members have in Telegram, and on our own charts the same algo on GLD (gold) and GDX (the gold miners), where everything on this page comes from.
Here's what you're going to see in this briefing:
- The Miner's Mark: the candle that says a breakout is real.
- The box: how long gold coils, and the four colours that grade it.
- Four targets stacked from the height of the box, and where the stop goes.
- What testing kept: the side and the chart that held up, and the ones that are only drawn.
Don't take my word for any of it. Here it is, drawn from the market as this page loaded.
Gold right now, as the Gold Bar Algo draws it
This is GLD (gold) and GDX (the gold miners) on our own daily charts as this page loaded, drawn by the algo's rules: the boxes in their quality colours, the breakouts, the targets and the stop. Nothing here is a mock-up.
GLD on the daily chart:
Each box is a coil: purple after 24 candles or more, blue after 20, gold after 16, orange before that. A green background marks a breakout candle.
GDX, the gold miners, on the daily chart:
The note at the top is the algo's status: coiling, an active trade, a fakeout blocked, or searching.
Why gold beats most traders
Here's the trap with gold.
It spends most of its time going nowhere, then moves fast. Traders get bored and leave, or they jump on the first spike out of the range and get shaken out when it snaps back.
The fix: wait for the coil, and only take the break that passes the checks.
The Miner's Mark
Here's the idea behind the algo.
A tight box means buyers and sellers have agreed on a price for a while. When a candle closes well above the top of that box, the agreement is over. But plenty of breaks fail.
So the algo only counts a Miner's Mark: a close more than 0.3 ATR over the box, in the top 30% of its own range, above the 50 EMA, without a big gap. A break that fails one is FAKEOUT BLOCKED and the chart rests.
How the Gold Bar Algo works
Gold Bar Algo watches GLD (gold) and GDX (the gold miners) only. When the last 10 daily candles sit within 3 ATRs of each other, gold is in a box, coiling (3.5 ATRs on the 1-hour and 4-hour charts).
The longer it coils, the better the box, in the TradingView script's colours: purple (Prime) after 24 candles or more, blue (High quality) after 20, gold (Mid quality) after 16, orange (Low quality) before that. A dashed box shows a coil while it is forming.
The breakout is a close more than 0.3 ATR above the top of the box, and the candle turns the chart green behind it. It must pass the script's three fakeout checks: the close is above the 50 EMA, the candle is a Miner's Mark (it closes in the top 30% of its range), and it did not gap too far from the last close. A break that fails one is FAKEOUT BLOCKED, and the chart rests.
The entry is the breakout close. The stop is 0.5 ATR under the bottom of the box, counted on a close under it (or an open under it after a gap), not a wick.
The targets are the box's own height stacked up from the entry: Conservative (1 box), Moderate (2), Aggressive (3) and Extreme (4). The trade is held to the Extreme target, as the script does, or the stop. One trade per chart at a time, then a 15-candle rest.
Why the daily buys: we tested the script on twenty years of GLD and GDX daily charts and two years of 1-hour and 4-hour charts, holding the most recent 30% back, with ten other metals charts beside them as a check. The daily buys made money in both stretches on GLD and GDX and on the metals check. The 1-hour and 4-hour buys made money on the earlier months and lost on the held-back ones, and the sells lost, so they are drawn on the charts, never called.
A daily Gold Bar trade is a swing: about two months in the middle, some much longer. Few calls: a handful a year across the two charts.
Getting close lists GLD or GDX when it is coiling in a box with price within 1 ATR of the breakout, above the 50 EMA.
How to read it:
- ✓ GLD or GDX, daily chart
- ✓ A tight box: 10 candles within 3 ATRs
- ✓ A Miner's Mark close 0.3 ATR above the box
- ✓ Above the 50 EMA, without a big gap
- ✓ One trade per chart at a time
What the Gold Bar Algo calls, and what it doesn't
We tested the script the way we test every system: twenty years of GLD and GDX daily candles and two years of 1-hour and 4-hour ones, holding the most recent 30% back, with ten other metals charts beside them as a check.
The daily buys made money in both stretches. The 1-hour and 4-hour buys made money on the earlier months and lost on the months held back, and the sells lost. So on our own charts only the daily buys are called; the rest are drawn for context. That makes for few calls, a handful a year, held for weeks.
Some calls hit the stop. One past stretch is not a promise about the next one.
Why this beats watching gold
You stop watching gold. The algo waits through the coil for you.
You only get the real breaks. Three fakeout checks before anything fires.
You get the whole plan. Entry, target and stop on every alert.
It's on your phone. The alerts post to the private Telegram channel.
We tell you the truth about it. On our own charts only the daily buys are called, because that is what held up in testing.

The questions I'd ask before buying this
What do the Telegram alerts cover?
Gold itself (XAUUSD), around the clock: each alert names the side, the entry, the profit target and the stop. You join the channel from your members area.
Why does this page show GLD and GDX?
They are the charts we run the Gold Bar Algo on in our own platform, in market hours, where every call is kept and can be checked. The Telegram alerts run on gold itself.
How many alerts a week?
It depends on gold, so we will not promise a number. On our own daily charts the algo calls only a handful a year across GLD and GDX, because those are the setups that held up.
Is this the Options alerts?
No. This is Gold Bar Alerts (the 24-hour gold alerts). Gold Bar Alerts (Options) is its own product.
What is included?
The private Gold Bar Telegram channel, the Quick Start video, how to trade the alerts on your own platform, and the Gold Bar cheat sheet.
Does it repaint?
No. Gold Bar reads closed candles, and what it drew on a closed candle stays drawn.
I already own Gold Bar Alerts. Do I need this?
No. It is already in your members area. This page is for traders who do not have it yet.
Is this a subscription?
No. $297 once, lifetime access. No monthly or yearly charges.
What if it's not for me?
Use Gold Bar Alerts for 14 days. If it is not for you, ask through Support in your dashboard and you get every penny back. No questions asked.
Two versions of the next breakout
Sometime soon gold will finish coiling and close clean out of its box.
In one version, you notice a week later, after the move.
In the other version, the alert was on your phone with the entry, the target and the stop.
The Gold Bar Algo reads the next break either way. The only question is whether it's on your phone.
P.S. Your login works within a couple of minutes of ordering, and the Telegram join is on your Gold Bar Alerts page.
P.P.S. It is one payment, for life. No renewals.
