Hi, I'm Ryan Brooks.
Today I'm going to show you the one level I'd watch on any stock before it makes a big move.
We call it the Tripwire.
It sits at the center of a simple pattern our scanner has called since June 2024. Here's what it's done:
- 71% of its 1,265 calls closed in profit.
- We pulled real prices on 701 of its options plays. $2,500 in each one would be up $110,522.
Not bad.
But get this. Since September 1, it has flagged 21 winners. That includes:
- an 80.6% winner on PEP in 4 days
- a 58.7% winner on UNH in 4 days
- a 59.2% winner on AMGN in 4 days
- a 54.8% winner on INTC in 2 days
- a 36.4% winner on SHOP overnight
That's 21 winners in about seven weeks.
That's why you're here right now.
Right now, the same pattern is loading up again on 6 stocks. Each one is sitting just under its Tripwire. In a few minutes, I'll show you how to get the alert the moment one of them crosses.
Here's what you'll see today:
- why most stocks go nowhere, and the one thing that has to change before one really moves
- the simple pattern that tells you when that change is happening
- the exact price to watch: the Tripwire
- real trades it flagged, including what happened when the market crashed in April 2025
- how to get the next one on your phone at 3:45 PM, while you can still buy

First, let me tell you a little secret…
Why most stocks go nowhere
Most of the time, a stock has trouble going anywhere.
Here's why. Every trade needs a buyer and a seller, and at every price there's a stack of orders waiting. People ready to buy a little lower. People ready to sell a little higher.
When volume is heavy, those stacks are thick. Price has to work through every order at every level, so it bounces back and forth between two tight prices and barely moves.
Think of a crowded hallway. When it's packed, you shuffle along. When it empties out, you can run.
When volume gets lighter, the stacks thin out. There's hardly anything in the way, so price can skip from one level to the next.
So before a stock can make a big move, it needs thin air to move through.
Most traders never think about this. They stare at the candles and wonder why a perfect-looking setup goes nowhere. Usually, it's because the air is still thick.
Where the air gets thin
That's where the 1-2-3 comes in. It's a fight between buyers and sellers that nobody wins.
A stock pushes up hard. The buyers think they've won. Then the sellers push it back down, and they think they've won. But neither side follows through.
And when nobody wins, both sides start to leave. The buyers get out. The sellers get out. The volume dries up, and the air thins out.
The top of that first push is the Tripwire. When price crosses it, it's moving into thin air.
That's why it works on everything from chip stocks to tobacco to the S&P 500 itself. Every one of them has orders stacked at every price.
Texas Instruments, January 2026
Let me show you one.
On January 6, Texas Instruments jumped on more than twice its normal volume. The top of that day, $192.92, became the Tripwire.
The next day it got pushed back, and nobody followed through. The volume dried up. By January 13, TXN was trading at about 60% of its normal volume.
On January 14, TXN crossed the Tripwire, and the 1-2-3 flagged it.
Two weeks later, the TXN April $190 call had gone from $15.13 to $29.00.
+91.7% On a $2,500 stake, that's about $2,290 in profit.
$97 once · 2 years, the 2nd free · 14-day money-back guarantee
"Isn't that too simple?"
I get it. A push, a push back and a line sound too simple to work.
But once you know to look for thin air, you start seeing it everywhere.
Take Goldman Sachs in the fall of 2024. On September 19, GS jumped on about 1.8 times its normal volume, and that high became the Tripwire. It got pushed back, and then it went quiet. By the day before it crossed, volume was running about 20% below normal.
On October 11, GS crossed the Tripwire. By November 6, the GS January $515 call had gone from $31.05 to $87.09.
+180.5% About $5,600 on a single contract.
That same week, JPMorgan set up. On October 11, JPM jumped on about twice its normal volume. It got pushed back, and by the day before it crossed, volume was running about a quarter below normal.
On October 18, JPM crossed its Tripwire. By November 6, the JPM January $225 call had gone from $11.14 to $26.55.
+138.3% On a $2,500 stake, that's about $3,450 in profit.
You don't need to guess earnings or chase headlines for any of this. You wait for the fight, let the air thin out, and watch the Tripwire.
We've seen this work even when regular traders were getting hammered.
Back in April 2025, the market had spent a week in the toilet. Tariff headlines had everyone reeling.
Then, out of the blue on April 9, a pause on the tariffs was announced, and the market shot up on enormous volume. The next day it got pushed back. Then things went quiet.
Over the next few weeks, one stock after another crossed its Tripwire. 151 different stocks and funds flagged a 1-2-3 off that one day. 90% of them hit their +5% target, and their options won 85% of the time.
Even the S&P 500 itself. SPY jumped on almost 3 times its normal volume on April 9, got pushed back, then went quiet. On April 25, it crossed its Tripwire at $548.62.
By May 12, the SPY July $550 call had gone from $24.85 to $41.25.
+66%
And SPY wasn't alone. Off that same day, the 1-2-3 flagged:
- a 72.3% winner on QQQ in 11 days
- a 70.6% winner on AMAT in 9 days
- a 62.8% winner on CSX in 2 days
- a 59.3% winner on SMH in 6 days
- a 58.6% winner on ASML in 3 days
- a 48.5% winner on CRM in 8 days
Look at ASML. On the day before it crossed its Tripwire, it traded less than half its normal volume. The air couldn't have been thinner. It crossed on May 7, and three trading days later its August $700 call had gone from $51.19 to $81.20.
While most people were still trying to figure out what had just happened, the Tripwire had already lined these up.

Now, if this is your first time hearing from me, my name is Ryan Brooks. I'm a trader here at Find Better Trades, and I'm obsessed with winning patterns.
Our team has the fortune of looking at hundreds of thousands of data points and testing dozens of patterns to see what really works.
I work alongside Ben Losier and the team that built TriTrader+, MagniZone, the Morning Power Hour system and other tools thousands of traders have used. Our options team has over 20 years of combined experience in the trenches.
You don't need to watch the market all day
The 1-2-3 alert comes at 3:45 PM, with 15 minutes left in the trading day.
You read it, place the trade, and set your exits. It takes about a minute. Then you get back to your day.
Maybe you're wrapping up a long day at work. Your phone buzzes at 3:45, you place the trade before the 4:00 bell, and you close the laptop.
Maybe you're at the park with the grandkids. Between pushes on the swing, you read the alert, tap buy, and put the phone back in your pocket. The exits are already set, so there's nothing to babysit but the kids.
Maybe you're sitting in the school pickup line. You place the trade before the car door opens, and by the time you're home, it's working on its own.
On May 7 this year, AppLovin jumped on more than 3 times its normal volume and Shopify on more than twice. Both got pushed back the next day. Then both went quiet.
APP crossed its Tripwire on May 26. The next day, its August $510 call was up 59.6%, from $73.70 to $117.63.
SHOP crossed its Tripwire on May 28. Two trading days later, its August $115 call was up 43.2%.
Why most traders get chopped out
Here's where most traders get hurt. They see a stock jump, and they chase it. Then it gets pushed back, chops around, and shakes them out.
Go back to TXN. Anyone who chased the jump on January 6 bought near the top of the day. The next day it slipped, and for a week it went nowhere. That's the point where most people give up. Then it crossed the Tripwire and ran.
The chasers buy the jump and bail on the pullback. That back-and-forth is what shakes everyone out.
But something is happening underneath that most people never notice. The volume is thinning out, and it's setting up a bigger move later.
We checked this on every call. 2 out of 3 times, the days right before the cross traded below normal volume. On an ordinary stretch for the same stocks, it's closer to half.
So the chop that shakes everyone out is part of the setup. The Tripwire tells you when it's over.
And this isn't something that happens once in a blue moon. Since June 2024, the scanner has flagged 1,265 of these across 251 stocks and ETFs.
It shows up in names you know. AMD's options won 8 times in a row. Microsoft's won 5 in a row. Costco's won 4 in a row. Shopify, UnitedHealth and Palantir all strung together runs of their own.
Once you know what to look for, you'll start to see it on almost every chart you open.
How to tell a real Tripwire
Here's what our scanner looks for. Grab a pen if you'd like.
- A real push. After a down day, one big up day, bigger than the days around it, that makes the highest high. That's the buyers making their move, and it has to be big enough that everyone noticed. The top of it is the Tripwire.
- A real push back. The next day is a down day that can't get back over the Tripwire. That's the sellers fighting back. Now nobody's winning, and that's exactly when both sides start to leave.
- The cross, at 3:45 PM. Price has to be over the Tripwire with 15 minutes left in the day. A quick poke in the morning doesn't count. It has to hold, because that's the sign the air above is really thin.
When all three line up, the fight is over and the air is thin.
Marvell lined up on September 18. The next trading day, its call was up 30.3%. Lowe's lined up on October 8. Six trading days later, its call was up 38.7%.
And it keeps happening
These setups weren't one-offs. Here are some of the biggest winners the Tripwire has flagged:
- a 230.6% winner on MMM in 7 days
- a 166.8% winner on MO in 3 days
- a 158.4% winner on NXPI in 4 days
- a 150.6% winner on BRK.B in 4 days
- a 134.5% winner on PM in 6 days
That 166.8% on MO? That's Altria, a tobacco stock most traders never look at twice.
Take NXP Semiconductors. It crossed its Tripwire on April 23 this year. Four trading days later, its July $240 call had gone from $20.25 to $52.32. On a $2,500 stake, that's about $3,960 in profit.
Add them all up, and $2,500 in each of its 701 options plays would be up $110,522.
That's money that could go toward a car payment, a trip you've been putting off, or right back into your account.
The typical winner hit its +5% target in 7 trading days. And the scanner flags 8-12 new opportunities every week.
If I were starting over with a small account and no fancy tools, this is the pattern I'd trade. One alert, one minute, and the exits are already set.
So how do you get the next one?
Right now, we have 6 stocks on our waiting list.
When one of them crosses its Tripwire, I want you to have it at 3:45 PM, while you can still buy.
Introducing 1-2-3 Candle Alerts
It's the only alert service built on the Tripwire.
Doing this by hand would mean checking 251 charts every afternoon for the push and the push back, then watching the clock so you catch the cross at 3:45. Nobody has time for that.
So our scanner does it for you. Every trading day, it checks all 251 stocks and ETFs. The moment one crosses its Tripwire, you get an alert at 3:45 PM with everything you need to take the trade:
- the stock and the entry price
- the +5% target and the stop
- the day-30 exit date
- the options trade: the exact contract, what it costs, and when to sell it
Here's the alert for PEP on October 16:
And the one that followed when it hit:
No guesswork. Read the alert and decide if you want in.
New to options? Don't worry. Every alert names the exact contract: the stock, the strike, the expiration, about what it costs, and when to sell it. It's one simple call option, no spreads and nothing complicated. And if you'd rather not trade options at all, the stock trade is right there in the same alert.
Expect 8-12 NEW opportunities every week.
Here's how a day with 1-2-3 Candle Alerts works:
- 3:45 PM: the alert lands on your phone.
- 3:46 PM: you place the trade and set your exits.
- 3:47 PM: you get back to your day.
- When it hits: the result posts, and you know exactly when to sell.
The alerts come to your members area, Telegram and Discord. The FBT App is coming soon, with a buzz on your phone for every call.
Here's everything you get
When you join today, here's everything that comes with your membership.
1-2-3 Candle Alerts
$497 value
This is the heart of it. Every trading day, our scanner checks all 251 stocks and ETFs for the push, the push back and the quiet. The moment one crosses its Tripwire, the alert goes out at 3:45 PM, with 15 minutes left to buy.
Every alert spells out the whole trade: the stock, the entry, the +5% target, the stop, the day-30 exit date, and the options trade, with the exact contract, about what it costs and when to sell it. Your members page shows every open call, the newest with their charts and a bar that shows how close each one is to its target.
So that you can act on a Tripwire in about a minute, without hunting through a single chart.
The Waiting List
$197 value
Before a stock can cross its Tripwire, it has to have its fight. The waiting list shows you every stock that already has: all three candles are in, and it's sitting just under its Tripwire, waiting.
Each one shows the exact price it has to close over, where it closed last and how far it has to go. It updates every trading day, so you see the next ones lining up before they cross, and you can pull up their charts ahead of time.
So that you're never caught off guard, and you're ready the moment the alert comes.
Your Alerts in Telegram, Discord and the FBT App
$97 value
Every alert goes to your members page, your Telegram and your Discord at the same moment. Telegram brings each one with its chart. On Discord, only our team posts, so an alert never gets buried in chatter.
And the FBT App is coming soon. Once it's live, every 1-2-3 alert lands on your phone the moment it fires, with a buzz for each new call, plus every update and how it ended.
So that you never miss a Tripwire, wherever you are at 3:45.
The Daily Recap and the Friday Scorecard
$97 value
Every evening after the close, a short recap lands in your feed: the new calls, the ones that closed and how they finished, how many are still open and which are leading, and how many setups are forming.
On Fridays, it adds the scorecard: every call that finished that week, how many won, how many lost, and the week's best trade. It takes about ten seconds to read.
So that you always know where every trade stands, without opening a single chart.
1-2-3 Trade of the Week
$97 value
Every week, the best call goes front and center on your members page, with its chart, the day it was called, the entry, the exit and the result. In the picture above, it's CVS: called on October 14, and out at its target a week later.
It's the fastest way to see what a winning Tripwire trade looks like from start to finish: the fight, the cross and the run. Week after week, it trains your eye for the next one.
So that you learn to spot a great setup by seeing one every single week.
The Live Record
$97 value
Every call the scanner has made since June 2024 is right there on your members page: every finished call, how many hit their target, how many were stopped out, and how it's done over the last year and the last 90 days.
It updates on its own as each call finishes, with the latest results right underneath, so you can check the track record for yourself any time you like.
So that you always know exactly how the Tripwire is doing.
The Start-Here Videos and the How-It-Works Guide
$97 value
Two short videos walk you through it on day one: first what you get and where the alerts come, then the three candles, the trigger, the stock trade and the options trade, step by step. Neither one is longer than two and a half minutes.
Right under them, the three steps are spelled out on your page, and the Help articles answer the questions members ask most, from how many alerts to expect to what to do if you miss one.
So that you're up and running on your very first day, even if you've never traded options.
Plus 4 bonuses, free with your membership:

Bonus 1: The 1-2-3 Field Guide $97 value
The whole setup, from the push to the exit, with real calls on our own charts. It lives on your members page, and you can keep it as a PDF.
So that you can spot a Tripwire on any chart, even before the alert comes.

Bonus 2: The Repeat-Winner Watchlist $197 value
Some stocks cross their Tripwire again and again. AMD's options won 8 times in a row, with an average gain of +50%. Microsoft's won 5 in a row, averaging +61%. This is the list of the stocks where the 1-2-3 has paid off most often, each with its full history, and which of them are setting up now.
So that you know which names to watch first when they line up again.

Bonus 3: The Market Weather Light $97 value
Green, yellow or red, from our own record: is the market in the kind of weather where the 1-2-3 has done its best work? After the market has been knocked down, 89% of its calls closed in profit.
So that you know when to lean in, and when to be pickier.

Bonus 4: The 1-2-3 Position Sizer $47 value
Put in your account size and how much you want to risk. It gives you the number of shares, sized to the stop, plus what one options contract costs.
So that every trade is the right size for you, every time.
The best Tripwires come in waves
Now, before I tell you the price, there's one more thing you should know.
In a typical week, the scanner flags 8-12 new opportunities. But the biggest runs don't come evenly. They come in waves, right after the whole market gets knocked down.
Remember April 2025? 151 stocks and funds set up off that one day, and 90% of them hit their target.
And that wasn't a one-time thing. Across the whole record, when the S&P 500 had been knocked below its 200-day average, 89% of the 1-2-3's calls closed in profit, and the average call made about four times as much as the rest of the time.
Here's the thing. Nobody can tell you when the next wave is coming. It could be next month. It could be fourteen months from now.
And I don't want you to sign up, sit through a quiet stretch, and then miss the big one by a few weeks.
So for everyone who joins at launch, we're doing something big.
